the purpose of this topic is to let those in the forum know what are the bike shops in singapore to avoid.
if u feel cheated, ripped off or whatever, kindly post your experience here.
of course, if the shop is good, you can also share with us. -
i might be changing to TZM instead of 2A bike this end of month, any good bikeshops to recommend for 2nd hand TZM?
I think think think, 2B bikes are more easy and cheap to maintain.... thats why i come up with this decision... -

That is why I am sticking with my TZM for at least the next 5 years. Cheap parts, cheap petrol and maintenance.
Will probably bypass 2A and get a class 2 bike 7 or so years down the road when I have money to spare. -

Eyeing the Yamaha R6...really damn chio Anyway, I don't think you will regret buying the TZM. Really nice bike and reliable. I would suggest getting one which was purchased from Hong Leong for the excellent level of support they provide. -

there are alot of class 2 rider who r seriouly into racing too but i guess that would be catogerised under recreation too.. -

actually i feel bikes 2a 4strokers most wuhua ah. got power lah, easy to maintain lah, dun drink that much petrol lah.
somemore can buy cheaper than 2b bikes ah!

Yes, insurance will be a headache. But it is the same for Class 2A and 2 right? I think their insurance is even higher. Not only that, but road tax is also higher.
I agree with you that although Class 2A bikes are cheap to maintain, but their parts cost more than 2B bikes. I would prefer to just have a Class 2 licence but stay with a Class 2B bike at least until I have a stable job and have extra cash to spend.

1) "southern Motors" at Bt Merah Industrial
2) "Lee Motor" at Lavander
3) "Soon Hin Motor" at Yishun Industrial
4) "HL Motors" at AMK industrial
5) "Kuang Tai Lee" at Defu Lane
If u want good shops, so far i can only reccommend u one. "ASPHOON" at Bt Merah/Serangoon/Changi. But most people go to Serangoon one, its directly opposite GHC.
Their bikes have no GST and no other hidden charges, Just the bike and the interest. Thats all. Look for Jonnathan at Serangoon.
I asked for a 2nd hand TZM previously, FN plate $4500 only. And 7% interest. Thats ALL. U all go visit its website at http://www.asphoon.com Lots to view. -
